Safe boating initiative
How it works
We collect unused or unwanted safety equipment and help our local community. Every donation goes 100% to a person or organization that could use it. Many of the organizations we support are non-profits, underfunded or work with children.
What is an acceptable donation?
- USCG approved lifejackets, throw rings, or personal flotation devices (PFDs)
- In date flares, smoke, or other visual signaling devices
- Complete first aid kits, AED’s, or other unused offshore medical supplies
- Harnesses and teathers, jacklines and carabeaners
- handheald radios
- bilge pumps
- EPIRB or personal locator beacon
